I
just don’t know how I feel about it.
The
reviews that I have read said how much everyone enjoyed it, and I guess I did
too, but there seems to be something missing for me.
I
really only continued reading it because I wanted to finish it, but I found the
last part kind of boring. Sorry everyone who loves it!
I
did laugh throughout the book, and I enjoyed reading about Caroline and Simon. For
me when I’m reading though, I like there to be a sad point in the story, then a
sudden explosion of happiness. I like the struggle before the happy ending and
it just seemed like this story cruised along. I don’t mind a bit of
predictability, and a happy ending, but I wanted more and this story wasn’t
giving that to me.
I
thought the book was good, and would recommend it to anyone who just likes to
read though cruisey sort of books. No great struggle, no great conflict. You
know who you are!!! You are the people giving this book outstanding reviews!!!
Not
a bad book, but not a favourite either!
Sorry it didn't work out for you. It made me laugh when I really need it so that's the main reason I liked it.
