Release Date: June 11th 2011

For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.

Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source - a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes...and none of them will ever be the same.

This is another one of those books that I just couldn’t put down. I was so obsessed with it that I couldn’t stop until it was finished. I got to a point where I didn’t want to go to work, or sleep, or even take a break to get something to eat. It consumed my life.

I was so easily and completely sucked into the life and drama and love triangle of Kiera, Denny and Kellan. I was so surprised that Stephens was able to make one of the most unforgivable things I could imagine, into a beautiful love story. Now that’s an amazing author!

After decided to follow her boyfriend Denny across the country from Ohio to Seattle, Kiera is sure she has made the right choice. She loves Denny; he is sweet, kind and loving. It is not until Kiera is introduced to their new roommate, and Denny’s best mate, Kellan, that she starts to doubt her decision. Kellan, the lead singer of a rock band Douchebags, is a drop-dead gorgeous, heartthrob, rock God and he knows it. He has a reputation for sleeping around and Denny is quick to let him know that Kiera is off limits. Not that he needs to worry, Kiera can tell the kind of guy Kellan is.

Kiera gets a job working as a waitress at Pete’s, Kellan’s primary hangout, and the two start to become friends. When Denny is sent away on a business trip for months Kiera is left heartbroken and alone. She turns to the only other friend she has, Kellan. The two fall easily into a routine of chatting over coffee in the morning, grocery shopping, snuggling on the couch, holding hands and flirting. Kellan was the distraction that Kiera needed to help her stop thinking about Denny.

One night after an argument on the phone to Denny, Keira is so upset she does the unthinkable. Cheats on her long term, love of her life, boyfriend, with his best friend. Suddenly you are thrown into a love/hate relationship with the triangle that has formed. Who are you suppose to like. Kind hearted Denny who left her? Or sexy as anything Kellan who has been nothing but sweet to her? Are you even supposed to like Keira anymore after what she has done???

I loved Kellan from the first second he was introduced. He became the sexiest person alive when you realise how much he cares for Kiera. He is willing to keep her secret if it means being any part of her life. I had to keep reminding myself that he wasn’t real.

Kiera was a little annoying when she kept stringing both boys along. It’s so frustrating because she just wouldn’t make a decision, and it better be the right one! All the while Denny had no idea. It was hard to read because Kiera had gotten herself into such a bad situation. It wasn’t as if Denny was an awful boyfriend, not by a long shot. He was kind and loving towards Kiera and would do anything for her.

It really makes you understand the struggle that she was going through. Do you gamble everything on a life that you think would great and safe and loving, or do you risk it all for a womanizing rock star with a sweet and kind heart?

I love that there is a second book because I just wanted to know more. Definitely on my list of book I would love to see turned into a movie!!!
